Culture in Taiwan is somewhat similar to the US. Everyone has a cell phone. The internet is very popular. They produce their own Hip-hop artists but also listen to artists from the US like Eminem. They claim to have the highest density of 7-Eleven stores per person in the world.
And of course they can enjoy a BigMac too!

Computer Ethics

It seems that there is no standard of morality for people using computers. There should be a standard of morality for people using computers but who knows if people would actually abide by such standards. Most people will get away with whatever they want to get away with. In this era, there is almost no accountability, therefore people behave as they want. Sure when something offends us we can flag it on most websites but that didn't teach anyone anything.

"Our legal system doesn't define what is right and what is wrong," is a statement which could be true but I think our legal system can be very clear on certain topics. I think the system has made it clear that killing someone or taking what is not yours in wrong. People are put in jail for various crimes like murder and robbery.
